National Marina Sales announced that it brokered a deal wherein Marina Shores at Dune Harbor in Portage, Ind., was sold to private investors Peter and Erin Meiusi. Located along southern Lake Michigan, the facility includes more than 265 slips, floating docks and access to nearby destinations, including Indiana Dunes National Park.
“This sale highlights the ongoing strength of the marina market and the appeal of well-positioned waterfront assets,” Rick Roughen, owner of National Marina Sales, said in a statement. “We are proud to have facilitated this transaction and look forward to seeing Marina Shores thrive under its new ownership.”
The marina has been regarded as a destination for seasonal and transient boaters in the Great Lakes region, and the new owners plan to maintain operations while pursuing targeted improvements and potential future development.
