Parker Boats and parent company Correct Craft this week announced that Whitman Barnes has succeeded Scott Bauer as Parker president.

The company said Whitman has a “strong combination of strategic vision and financial leadership.” Having worked closely with the Parker team, dealer network and Correct Craft leadership, he comes to the new role with a deep appreciation for the company’s heritage and its customers.

“Parker has built an incredible reputation over generations for producing boats that are dependable, capable and purpose-built for serious boaters,” Whitman said in a statement. “I’m honored to step into this role and continue building on the strong foundation already in place. Our focus remains on supporting our dealers and customers while continuing to grow the Parker brand and creating compelling products that will last a lifetime.”
