Decking manufacturer DEKit announced the relocation of its Charleston, S.C., operations to a larger, centrally located facility, while expanding its footprint into South Florida with the opening of a facility there. The new Florida facility was launched in partnership with Next Level Customs, forming DEKit South.
“We’re excited to help bring E-DEK Pro to market and serve Florida from a world-class South Florida facility,” Steven Paul, Next Level Customs CEO, said in a statement. “Our shared commitment to excellence makes this partnership especially exciting.”
The expansions allow DEKit to increase throughput, reduce lead times, expand inventory capacity and further optimize its supply chain, the company said.
