The African Boating Conference announced that global marine fuel solutions company Dan-Bunkering is an official sponsor this year. The sponsorship reflects Dan-Bunkering’s commitment to supporting the growth of Africa’s superyacht industry.
“Dan-Bunkering’s involvement shows the increasing international interest in Africa’s marine economy and the opportunities emerging across the continent,” ABC organizer Veda Pretorius said in a statement. “Trusted fuel supply and strong marine services are essential if we want to attract more superyachts and support long-range cruising throughout Africa.”
Operating from Cape Town and servicing more than 50 ports across Africa, Dan-Bunkering supplies bunker fuel, lubricants, alternative fuels and energy solutions to a wide range of vessels.
The African Boating Conference, held annually in Cape Town, is scheduled to run Oct. 20-21.
