Caymas Boats announced that Todd Falk was promoted to president and chief operating officer, a move that elevates Ben Dorton to vice president of sales and marketing, the post Falk previously held.
Falk had led the company’s sales and marketing efforts, which company leaders credit with helping establish Caymas as a recognized name in the fishboat market since its founding in 2018.
Dorton comes from a family background in the marine business and has spent much of his career working in boating sales and marketing.
“I am honored to step into the role of president and continue building on the strong foundation we have established at Caymas Boats,” Falk said in a statement, adding that he’s confident Dorton’s dealer and customer relationships would help drive the brand forward.
Caymas CEO and founder Earl Bentz praised both executives in the statement, saying Falk’s leadership had helped build the company into one of the industry’s most respected brands and that Dorton’s background gives him a strong sense of the business and its people.
