Kent Marine Equipment was named a partner to supply RAD electric propulsion in France.
U.K.-based RAD Propulsion announced today a partnership with Kent Marine Equipment to supply and integrate RAD electric propulsion in France. The partnership adds the RAD 40 (40 kW) electric outboard to the French distributor’s propulsion offerings.
“Kent brings strong engineering capability and a trusted presence with French ship owners and boatbuilders,” RAD chief commercial officer Chris Shepherd said in a press release. “Their ability to integrate RAD drives alongside their own generator and alternator range gives operators a complete, supported solution from a single partner.”
Kent Marine supplies power and propulsion equipment to ship owners, naval architects, boatbuilders and operators. The release said the partnership supports RAD’s wider dealer and partner network strategy, positioning the company to serve commercial, workboat and professional operators across France.
