Retired Dometic executive Ned Trigg is the 2022 recipient of the Hammond Marine Industry Leadership Award.
The award recognizes Trigg’s service and dedication to the long-term health of the marine industry, the NMMA Foundation for Recreational Boat Safety, Education and Environmental Awareness said in a statement yesterday.
Trigg will be honored with the award Friday during the American Boating Congress.
“On behalf of the industry, I thank Ned for his years of unwavering dedication advocating for recreational boating. He is one of the most sincere, hard-working and honest people you will ever meet,” Bill Watters, president of Syntec Industries and former NMMA chairperson, said in the statement. “He has always been willing to do anything and everything to support the success of recreational boating, and his contributions on NMMA’s boards over the years have left their mark.”
Trigg was involved in the marine industry for 34 years. He retired from Dometic as executive vice president in the marine division.
