The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show opens today at the National Exhibition Centre Marina, with 284 companies participating. The four-day show at the 40,000-square-meter, purpose-built marina will have yachts, fishing boats, catamarans and other vessels on display, built by local and international companies. There will also be engine and equipment exhibits.
Attractions include on-water demonstrations, live music and evening shows. There will also be virtual-reality fishing and powerboat training.
Organizers said in a statement that this year’s show has a 29 percent increase in exhibitor space and a 5 percent increase in exhibitor attendance compared with last year.
