The Association of Marina Industries elected 2017 officers and directors in January at its annual International Marina & Boatyard Conference in Fort Lauderdale.
Brad Gross, a certified marina manager, was reappointed chairman; Joe Riley, also a CMM, of Windmill Marina Association, was reappointed vice chairman; Chris Petty, of Suntex Waterfront Management, was reappointed treasurer; and Chris Dolan, of Marina Electrical Equipment, was appointed secretary.
AMI said it welcomes one new member to the board for a three-year term — Jason Johnson of Marine Travelift — and bids farewell to Mick Webber of the HydroHoist Marine Group.
Johnson will join the existing board, which includes: Keith Knowlton, a certified marina manager, of Riverside Yacht Club; Ronaldo Souza, CMM, of Westrec Marinas; Austin Cameron, of VIP Marina LLC; Ray Fernandez, of Bridge Marina; John Chiazza, of USI Insurance Services LLC Inc.; Bob Evans, CMM; Jeff Rose, CMM, of Safe Harbor Marinas;
