The Northwest Marine Trade Association and Anacortes Chamber of Commerce announced they are partnering with Passagemaker magazine’s Trawlerfest for this year’s Anacortes Boat and Yacht Show, which runs May 19-21 at Cap Sante Marina and neighboring boatyards in Anacortes, Wash.

In addition to in-water displays, the show shoreside will include trailerable boats, accessories, electronics and service providers. Trawlerfest’s seminars and educational classes will take place May 17-21 at locations within walking distance of the show.

NMTA, which also produces the Seattle Boat Show, is the nation’s oldest and largest regional marine trade association, representing more than 600 companies.

“There is great energy coming from exhibitors and boaters alike after a highly successful return to the in-person Seattle Boat Show earlier this month,” NMTA boat show director Katie McPhail said in a statement. “We look forward to continuing the growth of this event with the addition of Trawlerfest.”

Trawlerfest is owned by Active Interest Media’s Marine Group, which includes Soundings Trade Only and Passagemaker.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with the NMTA and the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce to have Trawlerfest return to the premier cruising destination of Anacortes,” AIM Marine Group president Gary De Sanctis said. “There couldn’t be a better setting to bring our education and community together in an intimate, rendezvous atmosphere, and we look forward to bringing our first-class education and demonstrations experience to this fantastic boating event.”
