In addition to a fleet of more than 500 new and brokerage vessels, the Miami Yachts Show will feature an AquaZone. This demonstration area will feature water toys including flyboards, underwater drones, kayak fishing seminars and more.

“A beautiful yacht gets you to the destination of your dreams, and then it’s the cool water toys that provide the fun for you and your guests while you’re there,” said Mary Bender, vice president of marketing for Informa, the Miami Yacht Show co-owner and producer in a statement.

World champion flyboard rider Kristen Smoyer will demo the boards and be the emcee for the AquaZone. Other demonstrations will feature SeaBob and Rover Boat boards, stand-up paddleboards, Schiller water bikes and more. Demonstrations are performed by Nautical Ventures staff members or designated vendors. The public is not permitted in the tank.

Also new this year is a floating VIP lounge that offers pass holders an open-air space with a bar, refreshments, showcases and concierge services. The Miami Yacht Show also includes a display of superyachts on Watson Island known as Superyacht Miami. Brokers can arrange transportation for clients between the two locations.
