The Bay Bridge Boat Show, produced by Annapolis Boat Shows, opens today and will continue through Sunday in Stevensville, Md., with more than 250 powerboats on display.

Boats of all sizes, ranging from luxury yachts to fishing boats, including kayaks, canoes, rowing shells, paddleboards and inflatables, will be on display.

Builders of powerboats exhibiting more than 250 brand-new and brokerage boats will be at the show, including Beneteau’s showcase of high-performance powerboats, and wakeboats by Mastercraft, Axis and Malibu.

“Spring has finally arrived, and we expect a picture-perfect weekend at the Bay Bridge Boat Show,” Annapolis Boat Shows president Paul Jacobs said in a statement.

The show has added a family-friendly theme celebrating on-the-water fun. Today’s festivities include free barbecue and music, beginning at 5 p.m. The event will feature demo boat rides, tours on the University of Maryland’s Center for Environmental Sciences 81-foot research vessel, boating safety courses for children by the U.S. Power Squadrons, face painting and moon bounce for kids, a brand new food court and fishing demos.
