Marine retailers who are looking to register at the lowest possible rate for the annual Marine Dealer Conference & Expo can save up to $150 per person if they sign up by the end of the day on Tuesday.
“The 2013 MDCE is already making some phenomenal progress with registrations,” Marine Retailer Association of the Americas president Matt Gruhn said in an email. The MRAA co-produces the show with Boating Industry magazine. “We’ve already set a record for most registrations by May 1 and we’re expecting a lot more registrations over the next two days.”
The 2013 conference is scheduled for Nov. 17-20 in Orlando, Fla.
Since 2007, the conference has attracted an increasing number of dealers every year. Last year, more than 1,000 industry professionals attended. With nearly 160 people already registered for this year’s event, the event has now set a record for the most registrations it has ever had prior to May 1. The highest number of registrations recorded in any year prior to the month of May was 92 in 2012.
“With the additional value that we are building into the 2013 MDCE, we expect the record pace for registrations to continue right up until the show begins,” Boating Industry editor-in-chief Jonathan Sweet said in a statement. “We’ve spent a lot of time focusing on increasing the opportunities that the MDCE offers dealers, and whether you’re an annual attendee or a first-time attendee there’s no question that you will walk away with numerous ideas that you can implement immediately in your business.”
