PHOTO COURTESY NORWALK BOAT SHOWThe National Marine Manufacturers Association today announced that an expanded Progressive Insurance Norwalk Boat Show is scheduled for Sept. 22-25. The show is presented by Discover Boating and staged at Norwalk (Conn.) Cove Marina.
According to a statement, organizers are adding another dock and increasing the education offerings, including saltwater fishing demonstrations, free boating lessons and boat rides, and daily seminars.
Returning this year is the Conservation Village, which will show boaters how they can keep their local waterways clean and include a “Norwalk Says No to Plastic” contest aimed at elementary- and middle-school students.
