Henk de Vries, director at superyacht builder Feadship, will give the Breakfast Briefing to open Metstrade, which runs Nov. 19-21 at RAI Amsterdam.
De Vries is the fourth generation of his family to take a leading role in Feadship, which is celebrating its 70 anniversary, and the yard that carries his name. He has overseen steady growth in operations, including the opening in 2005 of a second facility in Makkum in the Netherlands, and remains active with SYBAss, the Young Professionals in Yachting and the Water Revolution Foundation.
His briefing will focus on the future success of Feadship and the yachting industry, discussing workforce issues, corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
The Breakfast Briefing takes place Nov. 19 and will include the presentation of the DAME Design Award. It’s co-hosted by the International Council of Marine Industry Associations.
