
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show opens today at noon across seven locations, including the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Los Olas Marina, Hall of Fame Marina, SuperYacht Village at Pier 66 South, Pier 66 Marina, 17th Street Yacht Basin and the Broward County Convention Center.
Owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and produced by Informa Markets, the show last year attracted more than 100,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors from 52 countries, with more than 1,300 boats on display. Additionally, the show last year produced $1.79 billion in economic throughput in Florida and generated $85.8 million in state and local taxes.
Soundings Trade Only will be reporting from the show this week, including product launches, strategic partnerships, leadership and staff moves, advocacy, technology, trends and more.
Show hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
