The 28th annual Great Lakes Boating Festival opens the boating season at Grosse Pointe Yacht Club on Friday and runs through Sunday.
There will be boats from 16 to 80 feet on land and in the water, and organizers said exhibitor space is sold out. Dealers are coming from Wisconsin, Ohio and other surrounding states.
Also on display and for sale will be marine products and services, personal watercraft and water toys.
“The 2016 Boating Festival welcomes members and non-members to enjoy the beautiful and fun on-water experience the festival has to offer,” boat show manager Jim Morrow said in a statement. “Non-boaters are encouraged to come discover the joys of the boating lifestyle.”
The festival also will feature antique cars, a Dossin Museum display, an Antique Outboard Motor Association display and vintage boats.
