The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference yesterday announced a schedule of networking events to be held during the annual trade show, which runs Oct. 3-5 at the Tampa Bay Convention Center in Florida.
The event opens Oct. 3 with the industry breakfast, keynote and innovation awards. Additionally, IBEX has developed several special events that include Soundings Trade Only’s Women in Industry Summit, Leadership Panel, Awards Ceremony and Reception on Monday; Discover Boating’s Understanding the Changing Demographics of Future Boat Buyers on Tuesday; and the Emerging Marine Leaders networking event, Strengthening Leadership through Brand Development and Networking on Wednesday.
“A key component of IBEX has always been the networking opportunities, and this year we have plenty to choose from,” IBEX director Anne Dunbar said in a statement. “The connections made outside of the exhibit hall, at the Sail Pavilion, and various other parties and happy hours are invaluable to our industry. We are counting down the days and can’t wait to see everyone in just a few short weeks.”
Organizers will host the traditional opening night party Tuesday evening outside at the Sail Pavilion. In addition, the All-Industry Exhibit Hall Happy Hour and Mid-Show Mixer return Wednesday.
On Thursday, IBEX will host a Career Day with American Boat & Yacht Council Foundation.
