Organizers of the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference announced that attendees will have a range of networking and other opportunities to connect during the show, which runs Sept. 28-30.

IBEX has always been the place where the industry comes together to connect and do business, and we all need it more than ever this year,” show director Anne Dunbar said in a statement. “We will celebrate our 30th anniversary in addition to the extensive lineup of quality networking events and on-site experiences we have planned.”

IBEX events include:

Sept. 27: Soundings Trade Only’s 2021 Leadership Summit at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel. The three-hour session runs from 2 to 5 p.m. and features Balaji Krishnamurthy, who will speak about intentional leadership, building corporate culture and empowering people. A reception will follow from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Sept. 28: Industry Breakfast, 7:30 – 9:30 a.m., at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. NMMA president Frank Hugelmeyer will speak, and the IBEX Innovation Award winners will be announced, along with the recipients of the NMMA Hall of Fame and Mel Barr awards. Tickets are $45.

From 3 to 4 p.m., five industry stakeholders will share insights with the next generation of marine professionals during an Emerging Marine Leaders session. The Opening Night Party at the Sail Pavilion starts at 6 p.m.

• Sept. 29: Pitch the Press, 3:30 to 5 p.m. A Mid-Show Mixer will be held at 6 p.m. at the Sail Pavilion.

Exhibit halls on the first and second floors open at 9 a.m. The third floor opens at 10 a.m. and will showcase products and services from companies that are new to the show and industry. Specialty Pavilions on the third floor include the Composites Pavilion; the Compliance, Standards and Education Pavilion; and the NMEA Connected Electronics Pavilion.
