Organizers of the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference said the call for proposals for the show’s Education Conference ends this week.

Interested parties can submit topics until Jan. 14. IBEX is scheduled for Sept. 27-29 at the Tampa Convention Center in Florida.

“IBEX has earned a reputation for offering world-class, technical education,” show director Anne Dunbar said in a statement. “Many of the industry’s top professionals rely on the vital information they learn at IBEX to stay informed about the cutting-edge technologies, methods and materials and how to take advantage of them.”

All topic submissions will be considered, as well as speaker recommendations. Product or service promotion is prohibited.

The Seminar Series is delivered in the following tracks:

• Construction Methods and Materials

• Design and Engineering

• Management Policy

• Marina and Boatyard Operations

• Marine Electrical Systems

• Marine On-Board Systems

• Survey and Repair

• Emerging Trends

“We look to experts, innovators and stalwarts for session proposals because they are the people who shape the boats of tomorrow,” said IBEX education director Patty Lawrence. “Industry input is what makes the IBEX Education Conference shine.”
