IBEX organizers yesterday named the winners of this year’s Innovation Awards during a virtual state-of-the-industry breakfast.
Despite supply-chain shortages and other challenges, 69 companies submitted new products in 10 categories for consideration in this year’s awards program. Although the show was cancelled because of Hurricane Ian, the judging panel, comprising members of Boating Writers International, persevered.
“Congratulations to all the 2022 Innovation Award entrants; it is an impressive group of new products,” said show director Anne Dunbar. “The judges were challenged with a last-minute pivot in format and successfully completed the judging and deliberation in this important industry program. … I thank the NMMA and BWI for their efforts this year at IBEX.”
