Show management is expecting 700 exhibitor to display, of which more than 100 are new. A new layout includes a redesigned third floor with the Tech Talk Theater, an exhibitors’ lounge and the Start-Up Pavilion. The platform lets start-ups unveil new products and technologies and is a joint production between IBEX and Yachting Ventures. Additionally, the outdoor space at the show has expanded with in-water displays in the north and south docks at the convention center and additional slips at the Marriott Tampa Waterside.
“The focus for IBEX 2024 is not only the debut of new innovations and technologies marine professionals have come to expect, but also the introduction of new businesses that bring a fresh perspective to the industry and will be leading the way into the future,” IBEX executive director Anne Dunbar said in a statement. “With the redesigned layout and expanded outdoor space, there is going to be plenty to see and we look forward to welcoming everyone in Tampa.”
Noteworthy events at this year’s show include the Industry Breakfast, Innovation Awards Presentation and addresses by National Marine Manufacturers Association president Frank Hugelmeyer and keynote speaker Charlie Cook. The Sail Pavilion will host the Opening Night Party and Mid-Show Mixer, while Thursday is Student Career Day hosted in partnership with the American Boat & Yacht Council.
