The largest National Marine Manufacturers Association U.S.A. Pavilion in history opened today at the METS Trade Show in Amsterdam.

Ninety NMMA members will participate this week in the largest pavilion of exhibiting companies in the 28-year history of the event. METS will continue through Thursday and it is expected to attract more than 22,000 professionals from 112 countries.

The NMMA U.S.A. Pavilion will be the third-largest country pavilion at the show.

“We’re looking forward to a successful event this week and are prepared to help connect our members with international buyers at the show,” NMMA export development director Julie Balzano said in a statement. “We have created plenty of networking and meeting opportunities for our members in coordination with our strategic partners at the U.S. Department of Commerce.”

In addition to the companies participating as part of the U.S.A. Pavilion, dozens more NMMA member companies will be independently displaying at METS Trade.

Sponsors of the U.S.A. Pavilion include the state of North Carolina, E&P Marine Inc., Trend Marine Products and Blue Water Shipping. The state of Washington is also joining the pavilion for the first time this year to highlight its recreational boating industry.
