Applications for the DAME 2020 Design Award proceeds are being accepted from charities related to the recreational boating industry. Entry fees for the award program during the Metstrade show are contributed to nonprofit government-approved public charities in marine-related fields.
Charities must apply before April 17. The Metstrade exhibition committee will announce a charity to receive the proceeds in June.
“The DAME Design Award is all about innovation,” Sarah Westdijk, senior exhibition manager of Metstrade, said in a statement. “It is the best way for a company to launch a new product, and winning the award really boosts international visibility. Helping charities with the DAME proceeds has increased the impact of the DAME Design Award, and we are happy to support wonderful initiatives around the globe.”
