
Metstrade this year is introducing new initiatives that include a Next Generation Propulsion Zone and a Foiling Technology Pavilion, as well as more networking opportunities at the new Start-Up Pavilion.
A Young Professionals Club will feature a Career Corner, and the show is hosting the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image Award program for the first time.
“Throughout its history, Metstrade has been at the forefront of the key leisure marine issues of the day,” show director Niels Klarenbeek said in a statement. “We are also recognizing the importance of people, talent and entrepreneurialism by launching the new Start-Up Pavilion and pitching event.”
Sanlorenzo CEO Massimo Perotti will deliver the keynote speech at the Breakfast Briefing, followed by the announcement of the DAME Design Awards winners.
World Sailing and the World Sailing Trust are collaborating on an Equipment Recycling Hub to display difficult-to-recycle equipment from the Allianz Sailing World Championships, which were held in the Netherlands and August. The collected items will be showcased in the Construction Material Pavilion to raise awareness of recyclability issues.
Soundings Trade Only is partnering with British Marine and Marine Industry News to host Navigating Success Together: Women in the Marine Industry International.
