Metstrade has partnered with Marine Resources, a recruitment company that specializes in the boating industry, to create the Young Professionals Club and the Metstrade Career Zone.

During this year’s show, scheduled for Nov. 15-17 in Amsterdam, students and up-and-coming professionals will have complimentary access to career coaching from Marine Resource recruiters. Additionally, Metstrade exhibitors can take advantage of free job advertisement opportunities in the Metstrade Career Zone.

“We are excited about this collaborative venture, which focuses on nurturing, developing and retaining talent in our industry,” show director Niels Klarenbeek said in a statement. “We are confident that the Metstrade Young Professionals Club will empower young professionals and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the leisure marine industry.”

Marine Resources will promote an initiative it calls “The Future Talent.” It is built on four pillars — attract, train, retain, thrive — and engages employers and young professionals. It provides a platform to voice aspirations and expectations for the industry’s future.

Young attendees at Metstrade can anticipate networking opportunities, career advancement guidance, insights from industry leaders, skill enhancement workshops and roundtable discussions.

“We are immensely proud to lead the way with the Young Professionals Club and provide a dedicated space during Metstrade for young professionals to connect and network,” Marine Resources CEO James Ward said in the statement.

After the show, a Young Professionals Club Metstrade LinkedIn group will offer continuing networking opportunities.
