IMAGE COURTESY MRAAThe Marine Retailers Association of the Americas’ Dealer Week runs through Thursday this week in Austin, Texas, after a welcome reception later today.
“We built Dealer Week under the umbrella theme of ‘Discipline Amidst Disruption’ to provide dealers with a blueprint for how to continue the run of success they’ve experienced over the last three years,” MRAA president Matt Gruhn said in a statement. “It’s clear that dealers understand how Dealer Week can help them prepare for the year ahead.”
Registrations reached a record 456 dealers, the highest number since the annual conference was rebranded in 2019. The early-registration period, at a reduced fee, attracted 70% more dealership personnel than in 2021. MRAA also said nearly two-thirds of the registrants did not attend Dealer Week last year.
The seminar schedule starts Tuesday, which opens with the keynote presentation “Your Dealership’s Best Strategy for 2023” by Dan Gingiss. John Peak from Wells Fargo will then present “Adapt Your Dealership to the Changing Economy.”
The opening of the expo hall will follow. Wednesday will include an awards luncheon and a 1970s themed 50th anniversary party for MRAA.
Dealer Week wraps up Thursday with the closing keynote “5 Numbers Your Dealership Should Watch in 2023” by John Augustine of Huntington Bank.
