The southeastern Connecticut town of Essex, near the mouth of the Connecticut River, is hosting a new boat show this weekend.
The first Spring Boat Show started at 10 a.m. this morning and will run through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There is no charge to attend the show.
More than 50 boats – new and used brokerage boats from 25 to 72 feet – are on display both in water and on land. The show is taking place at the Brewer Dauntless Marina at 9 Novelty Lane.
