South Florida Ventures has acquired the Newport International Boat Show from the Newport Restaurant Group.
The Newport show occupies more than 13 acres of downtown Newport, R.I., and typically draws more than 600 exhibitors, with the largest in-water contingent in the Northeast.

The Newport boat show this year is scheduled for Sept. 12-15.
