Nominations are open for the third Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement in Amsterdam, held by International Boating Industry and RAI and organized by Metstrade, on Nov. 15 at the National Maritime Museum.
The award ceremony recognizes and rewards the outstanding business achievements of individuals and teams in a number of key areas in the global leisure boatbuilding industry.
There are eight award categories this year: Retail Marketing Initiative; Boat Builder International Distributor/ Dealer Development; Boat Builder and Equipment Manufacturer; Innovative Onboard Design Solution; Innovation in a Production Process; Environmental Initiative; Apprenticeship and Trainee Scheme; and Lifetime Achievement.
Previous winners include Azimut-Benetti, Sunseeker, Ferretti and MCY.
“The Boat Builder Awards are amongst the most important recognitions in the industry, and Monte Carlo Yachts has been proud and thrilled for being awarded with this top honor. … The Boat Builder Award recognition proves that our yachts combine aesthetic and functional qualities, technical reliability and an efficient and innovative production environment rarely seen in the industry,” Monte Carlo Yachts marketing and communications manager Federico Peruccio said in a statement.
The judging of the awards will be based on nominations submitted via Boatbuilderawards.com, which will then be deliberated by a soon-to-be-announced international panel of judges.
