North Pacific Yachts’ 49 Euro won the People’s Choice Award at Trawlerfest Baltimore, which was held Sept. 29-Oct. 3
The 49 Euro was one of the 20-plus trawlers and long-range cruisers on display at the show, the first in-person event in the Trawlerfest series since the pandemic forced most shows to be postponed or held virtually.
Trawlerfest is produced by Passagemaker magazine, which, along with Soundings Trade Only, is published by Active Interest Media’s Marine Group.
“It was exciting to be back on the docks at our first in-person Trawlerfest event in almost two years,” Passagemaker editor-in-chief Andrew Parkinson said in a statement. “We were delighted to see so many smiling faces enjoying the show, from our vendors and sponsors to the show-goers themselves. We’re looking forward to our next in-person show, coming up in Stuart, Fla., in March 2022.”
Hundreds of show-goers perused the boats along the docks at Harbor East Marina in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Also, 29 educational seminars were held on the docks, on the water and in exhibition spaces at the nearby Hilton and Marriott hotels.
