Long-range motoryacht builder Outer Reef will make two world debuts — the 580 LRMY and the 800 CPMY — at the Nov. 5-9 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The new 580 pilothouse yacht has a 1,000-gallon fuel capacity at hull speeds. It features a 17-foot, 2-inch beam. It also has a washer and dryer, a stand-up engine room with fore and aft access and a lazarette with a transom door.

The smallest Outer Reef in the classic collection expands the range from 58 to 115 feet.

“The owners of the new 580 Classic Long Range Motor Yacht, transitioning from sailing to powerboating, required a builder who would listen to their needs and translate these needs into a customized yacht that suits their lifestyle. After their extensive research, they felt most comfortable building with Outer Reef, knowing we strive to meet each customized build with precision while protecting the value of their investment through dedication to the highest quality,” Outer Reef Yachts president and CEO Jeff Druek said in a statement. “We are truly excited about introducing this new yacht, which sets the tone for future expansion of the Outer Reef Yachts collection.”

Outer Reef Yachts also will launch the latest 800 Cockpit Motoryacht, with a slightly altered accommodation layout to her predecessor, the 800 Long Range Motoryacht, at the Fort Lauderdale show.

Updated features include a reconfigured crew area and staircase from salon to crew.

In addition to these debuts at the Fort Lauderdale show, the Outer Reef Yachts display, located at the B/C Dock, will showcase the most recent build of the Outer Reef 650 Long Range Motoryacht, along with a 700 Long Range Motoryacht.
