Sail Newport is auctioning jump-seat and crew spots during the Pro-Am and In-Port races with a Volvo Ocean Race team in Newport, R.I., to benefit the group’s public access sailing programs.

The Jump Seat package is with Team Alvimedica, and it includes:

Ÿ• Dock out with the team and sail the in-shore loop before trans-Atlantic crossing (May 17)

ŸŸ• Jump off the stern of home team Alvimedica in full dry suit and life jacket in front of Fort Adams State Park

ŸŸ• Receive a professional photo of your jump

ŸŸ• Two tickets to VIP Ocean Race Club for before and after your jump (includes lunch and post-jump cocktails)

ŸŸ• Two tickets to the prize gala at New York Yacht Club (May 15)

A Crew Pro-Am Race package includes:

ŸŸ• Two guests sail on board during race on May 15

ŸŸ• Two spectator boat tickets for friends to watch your adventure (leaves from Fort Adams and includes lunch)
