Soundings Trade Only yesterday announced that it will hold a series of preshow events Sept. 26, the day before the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference opens in Tampa, Fla.
The schedule includes a Women in the Industry Summit at noon and an Industry Leadership Panel that starts at 4:30 p.m. The Leadership Panel will be followed by Soundings Trade Only’s Top 10 Most Innovative Marine Company Awards ceremony and reception. The events will take place at the Marriott Water Street.
“We look forward to offering the marine industry an exciting kick-off to IBEX week — a day to network, learn, engage and be inspired,” Soundings Trade Only publisher Michele Goldsmith said in a statement. “The Women in the Industry Summit will be the first large-scale, in-person, interactive workshop geared toward women working in the marine industry. All genders are welcome to attend.”
Added Goldsmith: “Key leaders from the industry will offer powerful insights during the leadership panel, and immediately following, we will honor the Top 10 Most Innovative Marine Company Awards winners and Sea Tow will also unveil their award winners.”
