The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference has partnered with Yachting Ventures to introduce a Start-Up Pavilion.

Yachting Ventures hosted a Start-Up Pavilion at Metstrade last fall. IBEX is scheduled for Oct. 1-3.

“We’re excited to launch a dedicated Start-Up Pavilion at IBEX in the U.S.,” Yachting Ventures founder Gabriella Richardson said in a statement. “Most start-ups we work with see the U.S. market as a big opportunity. Being part of the IBEX Start-Up Pavilion will allow them to explore this market and connect with important partners and OEMs.”

The pavilion will provide a platform for 12 startup companies to showcase products for the duration of IBEX, allowing participants a chance to engage with industry experts and take part in a pitching competition judged by a panel of investors.

“IBEX is where the industry comes to find innovation, and adding a Start-Up Pavilion to this year’s event is another way we can highlight the product development and ingenuity that takes place in our industry,” show director Anne Dunbar added. “I look forward to working with the team at Yachting Ventures to produce an exciting Start-Up Pavilion and to creating a space for startups to launch new and exciting products.”
