At the end of last year, I began to hear dealers, boatbuilders, component producers, engine manufacturers, association leaders and other industry leaders start to ask the same question: How do we keep the windfall of new boaters we gained during the Covid bubble?
Our continuing goal at Soundings Trade Only is to bring the industry important information before it appears anywhere else. The news on the ground may be good or bad, but it’s always news that we know our readers can use.
As some things revert to familiar territory, we are entering a new, new normal.

I’ve been drawn to innovative technology since the mid-’80s, when I started pounding out high school term papers in a friend’s basement on his Macintosh.
My hope is to include at least one insider story in every issue of Soundings Trade Only to provide a look at corners of the trade that some folks might not know exist.

This month, we’re looking at mergers and acquisitions with a focus on multigenerational, family-owned businesses.

This issue focuses on climate and sustainability, and it’s clear from our reporting that leading by example is key

All in the Family: This issue of Soundings Trade Only has a theme of diversity and inclusion.
