Owners of the Marina at American Wharf in Norwich have had a “troubled relationship” with the city, according to local reports.
The Port of Port Angeles currently manages the facility.
The 150-slip facility has been designed to accommodate boats longer than 100 feet.
Shelburne Shipyard has been in operation for nearly 200 years on Lake Champlain.
Five marinas also re-certified as clean marinas.
The company is focusing on companies that focus on Florida.
The company said it doubled megayacht space at Hall of Fame Marina, and Fernandina Harbor Marina, wiped out in Hurricane Matthew, will open next spring.
The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., yard is undergoing a “multipart improvement project.”
