West Marine, which closed on its sale to private equity firm Monomoy Capital Partners earlier this month, will continue to focus on its core boat business as the company moves ahead.
West Marine said that throughout October it will offer customers the opportunity to donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Customers can purchase a paper
West Marine said it will begin accepting online applications on Sept. 1 for its next round of 2017 BlueFuture grants.
West Marine said it is looking for marine-focused nonprofits in the Hilton Head area of South Carolina to participate in a BlueFuture “All Day Give Back” community day on Sept. 30.
Retailer West Marine reported a net second-quarter profit of $21 million, slightly less than it earned in the same quarter last year.
West Marine is being acquired by New York-based private-equity firm Monomoy Capital Partners.
