Navico said it has acquired navigation systems developer Yacht Defined Sweden AB and has invested in HOC Yachts AB, a start-up, high-tech custom boat designer that will be used to showcase Navico and Yacht Defined’s developments in marine electronics, digital switching, boat integration and connectivity.

Simrad Yachting has unveiled the NSO evo3 navigation system, an integrated display for larger cruising and sportfishing boats.

Lowrance is offering discounts of as much as $500 on its HDS Carbon fishfinder/chart plotters through April 30.
