
The monthly Pulse Report survey asks marine retailers for feedback on market conditions in June, and weigh in on their comfort level about fall boat shows in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
The five-question survey was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013 to gauge retail conditions. Trade Only Today later partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results.
The surveys analyze such industry data points as new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. They also include the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, a confidence index for retailers.
