Golden Boat Lifts and Marine Systems is accepting applications for its 2024 Golden Opportunity Scholarship through Dec. 1. The recipient will be announced at the Association of Marina Industries Conference & Expo, scheduled for Jan. 30-Feb. 1 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The Golden Opportunity Scholarship assists a marina professional working toward Certified Marina Operator or Certified Marina Manager accreditations.
“As marina owners prepare their 2024 budgets, the Golden Opportunity Scholarship is a great way to help those in our intermediate or advanced marina management schools attain their career goals,” Merritt Alves, AMI membership and training coordinator, said in a statement.
Added Golden Boat Lifts president Bill Golden: “Marina managers and operators are the lifeblood of our industry. We’re honored our annual scholarship assists deserving professionals as they work toward attaining the prestigious CMO or CMM credential.”
