European Boating Industry is partnering with Confindustria Nautica and Regione Liguria to host a European Sustainable Boating Roundtable at the Genoa International Boat Show.
The show is scheduled for Sept. 21-26 at Piazzale Kennedy in Genoa, Italy.
The discussion will take place Sept. 25 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. In a statement, organizers said the roundtable will focus on the European Green Deal and how the boating industry can transition toward sustainable solutions. EBI vice chair Piero Formenti and Andrea Benveduti, Councilor for Economic Development of the Liguria Region, will introduce the roundtable, moderated by Michael Verdon, marine editor for the Robb Report.
Confirmed panelists include Brando Benifei and Marco Campomenosi, members of European Parliament; Fabio Planamente, CEO of Cantiere del Pardo; Massimo Pronio, head of communication for the European Commission Representation in Italy; and Robert Marx, president of EBI.
