The Grow Boating board of directors has elected Bryan Seti, general manager of sales and marketing of Yamaha WaterCraft Group, as chairperson. Seti succeeds Joe Lewis, owner and general manager of Mt. Dora Boating Center, who served as chairperson from 2011 through October 2019. The announcement was made in the NMMA e-newsletter, Currents.

Seti joined Yamaha in 1998. He leads sales and marketing for Yamaha’s jet-powered boat line. Before joining Yamaha, Seti was director of marketing for Diamondback Bicycles.

During the meeting, the Grow Boating board elected other officers. They include: Peter Barrett, senior vice president, SmokerCraft, vice chairperson; David Witty, executive vice president, OneWater Marine, secretary; Bill Watters, president, Syntec Industries, treasurer; Lewis, past chair.

The board of directors includes Boat Manufacturer Representatives Lauren Beckstadt, Brunswick Corporation; Phil Estes, Malibu Boats; Barrett; Robert Long, White River Marine Group.

The Engine Manufacturer Representatives include Natalie Carrera, Indmar Marine Engines; Michelle Dauchy, Mercury Marine; Susan Bonovich, Volvo Penta of the Americas; Dale Barnes, Yamaha Marine.

The Dealer Representatives include Matt Lodder, Marine Sales Group, Fairfield, Ohio; Larry Russo, Sr., MarineMax Russo, Medford, Mass.; and Witty, OneWater Marine, St. Petersburg, Fla. The Accessory & Component Manufacturer Representatives include Laurie Louvier, Dometic; and Watters, Syntec. The PWIA Representative includes Seti, Yamaha WaterCraft Group.
