PHOTO COURTESY BARLETTABarletta Pontoon Boats announced that it added Matt Thompson as executive vice president of sales and James Baker as Southeast regional sales manager.
Thompson worked in sales in the RV industry, including stints at Damon Motor Coach, CrossRoads RV and Jayco. He also worked at two startups, most recently as owner and president of Peak Plastics in Constantine, Mich.
Baker’s background includes 27 years in retail at Seattle Boat Co., where he most recently was general manager. The dealership carried Barletta, as well as the Cobalt and Malibu brands.
“Dealer feedback about our new sales team members has been phenomenal,” Barletta president Jeff Haradine said in a statement. “We know we have to keep building to maintain and, quite frankly, get better in every phase of our dealer and retail interactions.
