Boating Sportsman received an APEX award of publication excellence for the magazine’s columns by editor Brady L. Kay.
Each issue of Boating Sportsman includes a From the Helm column on a variety of topics. The magazine is produced by Harris Publishing, which also publishes Houseboat magazine and Pontoon & Deck Boat magazine.
APEX is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications. In 11 major categories, 3,785 entries were evaluated by a panel of judges, including nearly 700 entries for magazine writing.
