The yard was established in 1973 and is run by CEO Fabio Planamente and president Gigi Servidati.
“The history of Cantiere del Pardo is rich and complex,” Planamente said in a statement. “It is easier to identify some milestones that coincide with the phases in which the company demonstrated its ability to adapt to changes, leading it to become what it is universally considered today: a flagship of the Italian shipbuilding industry.”
Company highlights include the launch of the Pardo brand in 2016 and the 2020 acquisition of VanDutch. The Pardo GT line launched in 2022 with the GT 52.
