The Coast Guard Foundation named Victor Stanescu chief financial officer, responsible for managing finance, accounting, human resources, information technology and reporting functions.
Stanescu has more than 25 years of experience in finance, fund-raising and strategic planning.
“Victor’s experience and commitment to excellence will be invaluable as we support the brave men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard,” Susan Ludwig, president of the Coast Guard Foundation, said in a statement. ‘We look forward to his contributions to our leadership team.”
Saying that he’s honored to join the foundation, Stanescu added, “I look forward to contributing to an organization that plays such a vital role in supporting the Coast Guard community. Together we will continue to strengthen the foundation’s financial health and ensure we can sustain our mission for years to come.”
