Rhode Island-based manufacturer and equipment representatives ComMar Sales has added Brian Steele to the sales team on technical and applications support, the company said in a statement.
With more than 25 years in the marine industry as a design and applications engineer, Steele brings extensive experience to his new role. For the past 17 years, Steele was with Seakeeper, part of the mechanical design and engineering team that first developed and marketed its gyrostabilizer. He was also with Maritime Dynamics for eight years as a project and design engineer.
“We are very excited to have Brian join the ComMar Team,” said vice president Norm MacLeod. “We felt that with some of our manufacturers introducing products with advanced technology, someone with Brian’s skill set would greatly enhance our technical sales and support services.”
