The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas this week announced a new dealer-manufacturer scorecard program designed to improve customer experience by fostering conversations between dealers and manufacturers.
The announcement was made during MRAA’s Dealer Week conference.
“This scorecard initiative seeks to not only provide a platform for quality feedback to be delivered to dealers and manufacturers, but through the conversations it will create and the performance improvement opportunities it will identify, we expect that these scorecards will ultimately lead to a better boat buying and ownership experience,” MRAA president Matt Gruhn said in a statement.
With the launch of the program, MRAA noted that two multibrand boatbuilders — Correct Craft and Malibu — are participating in a pilot program to collect feedback from dealers and provide MRAA with information on how to continue to fine-tune the scorecard program.
