A new survey is asking marine dealers to weigh in on November market conditions, and forecast whether buyers will continue the trend toward larger boats with more amenities, or if they predict more value-driven boats will be more popular in 2020.
The brief, five-question survey, called the Pulse Report, was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013. Trade Only later partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results.
The surveys analyze industry data points like new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. They also include the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, a confidence index for retailers.
